William is drawn to wearing the clothes of an artist, they make him feel alive and vibrant. He puts them on in the morning, but by lunchtime they have slipped off and he cannot even remember where he left them. William wishes he was an artist for longer than a few moments of the day.
These pieces were created on the beautiful isle of Koh Tao. William led an enchanted life where the elemental world was both lover and destroyer at one and the same time. He was carried at times like a child upon her beating breast, yet could just as easily be abandoned on a dusty track to find his way home.
